I’ve been trying to get fit. I’ve gained more weight than I care for in the last few years (thanks Freshman 15…or should I say…Freshman 25!). Anyway, the first couple of weeks were rough. I tried to watch what I ate and I tried to exercise, but I had no energy and no will power. But this week has been fantastic overall. I started using MyFitnessPal to monitor what I ate and how much I exercised. I was able to do somewhere between 24 and 45 minutes of cardio each night.
Oh, and I lost nearly three pounds this week alone. And I took my measurements for the first time in two weeks…I discovered I have lost 5” on my waist and 2” on my hips. Needless to say, I feel pretty damn good about myself tonight.
